The Little Studio

Because discovering art begins at an early age, Large has created a space especially for children aged 6 to 12. Located at the heart of the visitor journey, Petit Atelier invites younger visitors to observe, explore and create at their own pace.

Designed by Constance Guisset, this free space extends the exhibition experience through playful, hands-on activities. Guided by Large mediators, children discover the artworks, sharpen their curiosity and give free rein to their imagination.

With each exhibition, a new programme of activities is developed in connection with the artists, themes and artworks on display. A specially designed activity booklet for younger visitors also accompanies families throughout their visit to the art centre.

Petit Atelier is a space where curiosity, creativity and sharing come together, allowing every child to experience contemporary art freely and in their own way.
